The last crappy thing I said. | The next crappy thing I said.

I've been keeping a blog elsewhere, since I didn't want all the past of this blog to be in a public arena and whatnot.

If anyone would care to visit, it's here: Thrifty Business

So please stop by and say hi :)

ABBY! I checked out your blog, but was unable to find a way to message you on it. It could be the time of day, It could be the amount of beer that I've consumed...

Anyhow, I decided to come back here to talk to you about it!

I too, am a bit of a thrift-store fixture! My Salvation Army frequent shopper card is full as of Saturday, so I'm stoked that I'll be getting $1.00 off of my next purchase!

We should talk more often! I'm blessed with the ability to find FABULOUS pieces of haute couture for pennies on the dollar!

Over the past month, I've claimed a very nice Christian Dior suit, a sweet Kate Spade handbag, Armani Sunglasses, a vintage Coach handbag, a Dooney & Bourke wristlet, and a GORGEOUS pair of Salvatore Ferragamo shoes for my wife, and a very flattering, feels like it was custom-tailored for ME Yves Saint Laurent suit for myself. Altogether, I paid around 25 bucks. I wore that suit to her company Christmas party. There WILL be pictures!

At the bottom of the entry there's a "comment" button :P

You better get some pictures! We should do a trade sometime - random thrifted stuff for other random thrifted stuff!

How many times do you have to go to the Salvation Army to get $1 off?

As soon as I get my computer back, and get rid of this loaner, I WILL post some pics. I'd be proud to.

Hell, post me your sizes and while I'm hunting, I'll look for you, too! Things are really, really, really cheap here. I could be your personal thrift-shopper of the midwest! Just today I grabbed myself an Oscar de la Renta tie for a quarter, and two WORKING Star Wars Stormtrooper blaster rifles for the boys, at 75 cents each.

Well, it varies. The cards are handed out like they are at Starbucks. After you spend 50 bucks with them, you get a buck off. It's kinda hard to rack up that kind of volume, but it happens eventually. I've been going to this particular store for about a year, and I'm only on my fourth card.
